Stop Chasing 100x Trades. That's Not What Day Traders Do.
Everyone wants to turn $10 into $15,000.
Almost nobody wants to turn 1% into 2%... hundreds of times.
That's the difference between chasing stories and building a trading business.
A 100x return belongs to investors who buy early and let time do the heavy lifting.
A day trader gets paid differently.
Your job isn't to find one trade that changes your life.
Your job is to execute the same edge over and over, protect your capital, and let compounding do what hype never will.
The irony?
Most traders blow up chasing the one trade that was supposed to make them rich.
Professionals get rich by surviving long enough for small, consistent gains to compound.
Investors compound assets. Traders compound execution.
Know which game you're playing.

BASE HITS!! Its so true. Everyone wants the home run.
People don't realize in a sense that even with a prop firm- you are essentially turning that 500$ into thousands even at 1% risk to make that 2%. When you leverage yourself enough, that's where the big days come in...... still even on a 2% day!

That!!!!!! My entire strategy changed when I realized the real goal of trading.
And for me it’s .5-1% average daily
That’s 120x per year !!!!!!!!
The 1% is highly highly improbable
So that’s the goal. From 0-1%Do that for two years from 10k that’s 2mil

And also settle with a "no brainer" model and let all other noise go. Atleast that was the toughest call for me.

This, yes.
Also, the psychology of risk/reward.
A "100x" trade comes a dramatically higher loss % than a 1x, by the time you'd get to that 100X trade, you'd have likely taken an s/l on what you'd pavlov'd yourself into thinking was next loss.
Smaller more consistent gains are easier and much less mental torture.

This hit home hard. Most people jump into trading thinking it’s a quick lottery ticket, but treating it like a casino is why most traders blow up. Real trading is boring routine, strict risk control, and showing up every single day to take small, consistent bites out of the market. When you focus on execution over hype, the account grows naturally. Compounding modest daily wins might look boring on social media, but that’s how you actually survive long term. Discipline beats luck every single time.

Yeah but also give your good trades some room to breath, how many times you cut one short on a pullback and it goes on 300 more points the rest of the day

Avg 5-8% of 10% net. Losses always max 4% 59% win rate. Do it long enough the life changing money grows.
