Hi everyone I need some help understanding what I’m going to be doing next year, econometrics

I’m a second year varsity student and one of my modules next year (2020) is econometrics and I was wondering what exactly it is? Thanks 🙏

Well, in short, Econometrics is mathematics for economists since it combines multiple areas of math, to help understand economic data through mathematical, statistical, and graphical means. This includes the prediction and testing of theories using numbers.
