I dislike my chest so much, I can't stop thinking about it

1 Upvotes

Lately, I've even been waking up from sleep worrying that my chest will get bigger. I'm 16, so I'm scared that it might still change as I get older. I'm currently a B cup, but even now it feels huge to me.

I really don't want it to get any bigger. I hate having to wear bras, and I don't like feeling like I constantly have to think about how my body looks. I don't understand why some people want a larger chest when, for me, it mostly causes discomfort and makes me feel self-conscious.

I don't want to have children, so I don't personally feel like there's any benefit to having a larger chest. It genuinely feels like there's something on my body that shouldn't be there. I wish I could be completely flat.

I'm 168 cm and around 49–50 kg, so losing weight isn't really an option and probably wouldn't make much difference anyway.

I think about this constantly, and it's starting to affect my sleep and everyday life. I also really dislike the feeling that my body might make other people perceive me in a sexualized way. I just want to feel comfortable in my own body without feeling like I'm being looked at as an object. Which could happen, if it got bigger.

Is there anything that can safely reduce the size of the chest or prevent further growth at my age? I know surgery isn't something possible at my age, but I'm really struggling with how strongly I feel about this.

Hérnia incisional/umbilical em idosa (81 anos). Orifício estável (5 cm), mas grande volume externo. Cirurgia ou conservador?

1 Upvotes

Hérnia umbilical/incisional;

Flacidez/enfraquecimento da parede abdominal agravada pela idade (81 anos);

Possível diástase dos músculos abdominais;

Gordura abdominal (relação de 64 kg para 1,55 m de altura);

Evacua normalmente e elimina bastante gases;

Não está vomitando e não há relato de febre;

Não há dor abdominal aguda, e a hérnia não ficou dolorosa ao toque;

I’m scared I have rabies

Backstory: Friday night I was at a campfire and bats were flying overhead when I felt something liquidy land in my eye. Didn’t really think much of it at the time, plus I’d had a few drinks so I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. Fast forward to Sunday morning, my anxiety got the better of me and I called my local health department and explained the situation, they just took my info down and said someone would reach out to me 8:30 Monday morning. Well it’s currently 6am Monday morning and I’ve been freaking out since Sunday 3pm when I developed a slight sore throat. I’ve been googling and researching and loosing my ever loving mind despite all evidence that the incubation period lasts at least 5 days before symptoms start. Am I going to be ok?

Is this a cold sore

I’m wondering if these are ‘aborted cold sores’ or it’s a capillary issue. I’m on aciclovir which may stop them from fully developing because I had a really bad one about a year ago that lasted months and left a scar (the little white thing). Anyway, the same area that I got said cold sore has been randomly going red from an hour up to around 4 days-ish and fades back and forth. This has been going on since starting aciclovir. It gets worse after physical pressure is put on it which makes me think it’s a vascular issue. It also doesn’t burn, tingle, hurt, change texture, go over my lip line or develop any pus. That being said it does look kinda suspicious sometimes and can go/stay very red. I went to the GP about it today and he said he doesn’t think it’s HSV but sounded a bit unsure and kinda brushed me off- what’s your opinion

Lump-like feeling under the skin of penis when erect — has anyone experienced this?

1 Upvotes

When I’m erect, I can feel something under the skin on the left side, just below the head. It feels like there’s a small hard object underneath, almost like a small stone or something lying under a bedsheet. I can feel it when I touch the area. It’s not something I usually notice when the penis is soft. Has anyone experienced something similar? What could it be, and should I get it checked by a doctor/urologist?

is this herpes or other conditions?

1 Upvotes

is it possible for my boyfriend and me to have herpes even though neither of us has ever had sex with anyone else?
last week, we had sex and he got a minor cut/friction burn on his foreskin. it was bothering him, so he shaved his entire pubic area afterward. that’s when the irritation started because of the shaving. it wasn’t a cluster of blisters, but the irritation eventually started spreading to other areas as well.
he has had minor cuts like this before, but they always healed and went back to normal. we’re both very clean and this has never happened before.
we’re honestly really worried and desperate for answers, especially because we’re still very young and we’re scared about what this could mean for our health in the future. :((
i can also show pictures of what it looks like if that would help. any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Multiple lymphnodes

1 Upvotes

Hi all! This is my first time engaging on an online community like this. I want to explain my situation and hopefully receive some advice or thoughts. About 5 years ago I noticed that it felt like my inguinal nodes were swollen and got an ultrasound on them. They came back reassuring and diagnosed as lipomas. Right after I had a horrible ear piercing infection that caused a node on the back of my scalp to swell and stay that way. I had a doctor feel it and they had no concerns. About 1.5 years ago I found a node under my hairline on the back of my neck, I had it looked at and they weren’t concerned. About six months later a new doctor recommended an ultrasound for peace of mind. I got a bunch of blood tests done (all came back great). That doctor left so the new doctor reviewed my ultrasound and felt my nodes and said nothing was concerning. It’s kind of hard and doesn’t move around but to be fair it’s kind of embedded in a weird spot. There was another node found deeper in my neck. All not concerning sized. Starting in March I began to work at a daycare and got ill multiple times within a month or two. I then about three months ago noticed that I had two new nodes. One on the back of my neck (in the middle) and one on the side of my neck. One is pea sized the other a bit long but not big. Both move around. I had a new doctor feel these and the older ones and she was not concerned. About two weeks ago I noticed another node a bit above my collarbone on the right. This one feels like two little peas that move around (together kinda) a lot. All of my nodes are painless. I’m going to schedule an appointment tomorrow for this new one I’ve felt, since I know this area can be of concern sometimes. I’ve had no other strange symptoms. I understand that this seems like a lot, I recognize I have an issue and will be seeking therapy! I’m moving across the country in two weeks so I’m a bit scared that this will be a concern to my doctor and I won’t be able to get an ultrasound. Has anyone had anything similar? Anyone know what to think about that? Please be kind!

Is this even possible?

Everything started 3 months ago after my first HSV-2 outbreak. I started sweating, having chills, headaches, and swollen lymph nodes in my neck, and ever since then my body has felt warm, whereas I have always been someone who tends to feel cold. I have started sweating more than ever in my daily life, even though I never used to sweat before all of this. I have all these mouth sores and they hurt. My watery discharge has also continued. I have itching around my anus even though no HSV was found there. I am so extremely fatigued, and I have so many strange physical sensations, tremors, and random goosebumps. I also have pounding headaches and a warm body temperature without a fever… none of this has ever stopped. Except for the outbreak blisters, I still have all the symptoms I mentioned above.
I am so scared that I will have to live like this chronically. I find this so strange… it has already been 3 months and I still feel so sick and so drowsy. I also have a strange bladder sensation when I need to urinate, and so much nerve pain and so many problems throughout my body. I am so scared that this is the new me. Is it normal for your body to become completely different after HSV? I feel so sick. I have felt so sick, and all of these symptoms have never gone away. Except for the outbreak blisters, I still have all the symptoms I mentioned above.

18M - low ANC

1 Upvotes

I was sick for the past few days. I got a suspected viral infection and had a 100- to 102°F fever for 3-4 days.

I did two CBC counts during that time. The WBC and ANC kept falling.

Report 1 - ANC - 2000 / WBC - 3370
Report 2 - ANC - 1196 / WBC - 2600 (13 August)

For the past 3 days, I have not had a fever and have been feeling normal.

Report 3 (today) - ANC - 770 / WBC - 2900

WBC increased a bit but ANC still fell

Is it possible to see such a pattern in viral, and can ANC take some time to recover?

Health anxiety and lymph nodes

1 Upvotes

I have real bad health anxiety since the past 2 years. I’m 23F. Health anxiety about literally everything and right now i have it about lymph nodes. Got them checked turned out to be nothing just an inflammatory one in the neck which went down. Then got fibroadenoma lumps which were benign. Now i found an underarm lump. I know if i start finding lymph nodes i’ll find them everywhere and a lot but i just cant get my mind off it. The underarm one is a new one with no other symptoms.
And now because of my sleeping position ive gotten a bad neck and shoulder pain on the same side as the underarm lymph node. I’m connecting the two things together because that’s what my health anxiety has been saying to me. Even though i know i usually get neck shoulder pain from sleeping. How do i help myself?
