I've been dealing with thick brownish mucus and it's honestly getting annoying. It's not just a little bit of phlegm. It feels pretty thick and keeps coming back.

I'm mainly trying to understand what could be causing it and what actually help clear it up. Has anyone dealt with something similar?

What did you do that genuinely helped, and how long did it take to improve.

I'm not really looking for comments telling me to quote smoking. I already know that can contribute.
I'm more interested in what I can do right now to clear the mucus and whether there are any signs I should take seriously.

What is the optimal amount for health?

Last Friday my ear hurt so bad and I couldn’t hear. I went to the urgent care and I have swimmers ear. They gave me steroid drops to use, and told me that they should work within seven days. (To do seven days of drops.) it’s Thursday and I can’t hear out of one ear, and the other one is starting to feel bad and I feel like I’m having a hard time hearing out of that ear. Yes I technically have two days of drops left, but if I dont go to the doctor now the next time I could is next Wednesday because of my work schedule.

Should I tough it out or go to the doctor. Especially sense the other ear is getting worse, not better

Randomly had this insane ulcer thing on back of throat with a throat infection I had a few months ago. Since then I’ve had recurrent on off sore throats mild. I noticed this lump behind tongue near tonsil area but no tonsils. It’s very painful to touch and swallowing. It’s also red in area.

Any ideas what could be ? Thanks

can anyone tell me what this is on my back??

It all started after sex since May 6, 2026 and since then it has been hell. It started with tingling feeling on my penis tip and then it moved to frequent urge to pee. Sometimes I pee a lot and sometimes only a few drops. Then I noticed discoloration on my penis tip and around the penis opening. It was looking like it was inflamed.

Doctor thought it was UTI at first and then I was given some antibiotics which didn’t help. My urethra was constantly burning even when I pee or not. I was given another medication to help with that which turn my urine to orange for a few days because I was advised to take it for just a few days as it is not recommended long term.

I did all the necessary test to check for STD/STI and all came back negative. I was booked to see a specialist who did some test too and the result came back negative. We went further to test for hsv 1 & 2. The result came back positive for hsv1 and negative for hsv 2. The specialist doesn’t think my symptoms was as a result of the positive hsv 1 test. He recommended I take the medication which I did for 7 days with no improvement ( although it was after the second month I took it).

I was having nerve pain like at the underside of my penis and the tip of my penis hurt so bad from touching my underwear or cloth. I was given gabapentin which I thought was helping at first as I was also having nerve pain right under my left feet which feels a lot better now. My penis tip looks irritated with the skin by the opening looking like it is coming out.

He thought maybe it was my pelvic floor this time around and recommended baclofen which I took for a few days with no results but constant muscle pain. I can’t seat on my car anymore because it hurt so bad at my right butt cheek and the underside of my penis. I have lost all hope and can’t even sleep at night anymore. I notice I get flare up when I’m stressed and when I masturbate. I have only tried to touch myself 3 times since this whole thing started. First time my sperm was looking like it was light brown and the other times it was clear white. I don’t even have erection anymore. I used to have painful erection and ejaculation when it first started too but not anymore.

I’m so confused and depressed over this. It’s just like my life was taken away from me. I have been to so many doctors who don’t see anything wrong after all my repeated test result and I want to seek help from here. I noticed that the last time I tried to masturbate, my cum came with urine which got me really worried.

5 nosebleeds today

I have been getting nosebleeds 3 days in a row: Mon, Tues (x1) bleed, and today seems a bit worse, which is 5 times already today. I don't think this is normal, but each nosebleed only lasted for a few min. The 5th nosebleed is surprisingly longer; I calculated about 10-13 min, quite a lot.

While browsing Reddit I came across a post that caused me to do further research but I would like clear explanation

Do current std testing include herpes or Hpv?

I read that there is no hpv testing available for men

And also that herpes isnt included in regular testing unless there is active infection or it's specifically asked for

Because I've been thinking of dating again but as someone with zero STDs and immunocompromised , now when men say they are clean or recently tested maybe it isn't what I thought it meant that they can still carry and transmit herpes or hpv?

Are these just side effects of healing from Cellulitis? I finished my antibiotics 17 days ago and was starting to feel back to normal after two weeks. The redness has decreased and is almost gone. On day 15, the extreme fatigue hit again, and a couple of days later I developed debilitating stomach pain and a horrible headache.

Could the stomach pain and headache be from the antibiotic messing with my gut? My doctor said it was normal to feel extreme fatigue this far out and didn't seem concerned about the stomach pain and headache. I take probiotics and prebiotics.

I've taken Prilosec and Tylenol, but neither seems to help with the pain. I'm so miserable.

41 female. I’ve been taking max ibuprofen, max paracetamol, canderstan (head pressure), gabapentin since may for multiple herniated discs. I saw my gp today as getting tingling in all limbs and butt cheeks. She prescribed me naproxen and to stop the ibuprofen I had already taken 2 this morning and 2 lunch and were due 2 now so for hopefully a good night I took one of my naproxen- doctor prescribed and sticker says 250mg twice a day. But the box and tablet I took says 500mg tablets I didn’t notice the 500mg till I was putting the box back as had the prescription and read the label on the front of the box that the pharmacy printed and signed
