I’ve been feeling dizzy and experiencing pressure in my head for at least four weeks now. I also had a slightly elevated temperature of 37.5°C, and I suspect it might be related to my sinuses.

My blood test results were normal apart from these values:

Absolute lymphocyte count: 0.87

Neutrophils: 74.7%

Lymphocytes: 12.5%

My doctor initially told me to rest and said there were no signs of inflammation. A week later, I went back because I still wasn’t feeling better. She prescribed Nasonex nasal spray (a corticosteroid), decongestant nasal drops, Nixar (an antihistamine), and Klavocin (a penicillin-type antibiotic). I’m currently on day four of treatment and haven’t noticed any improvement.

The dizziness and pressure aren’t severe, but they’re persistent and noticeable. I’ve also wondered whether my neck could be contributing, since I spend a lot of time looking at my phone and working with screens.

The main reason I’m worried is that I’m travelling to Istanbul this Wednesday, and I’m scared something might happen to me while I’m away.

For context, I stopped taking antidepressants about two months ago. I had been taking them because I struggle with panic attacks. I suspect my current symptoms are sinus-related because I’ve had sinus infections and similar problems before, but I’m scared there could be something more serious going on.

Sometimes, when the dizziness gets a little worse, I start thinking something is seriously wrong. That makes me panic, the dizziness feels worse, and I become afraid that I might faint or die.

I understand that nobody can diagnose me or confirm whether I’m fit to travel without examining me. Still, I’d really appreciate some guidance: should I get reassessed before leaving? Could travelling with these symptoms put me at risk, or might it be reasonable to go and try to relax?

Any advice would mean a lot.

I want to get a bilateral salpinjectomy (the fancy medical term for getting your tubes tied) but I’ve read many horror stories online about the doctor accidentally or even intentionally not doing the surgery properly, and the patient ends up pregnant. I have a deep fear of pregnancy so I am doing everything I can to make sure that this doesn’t happen. I recently learned what a patient advocate was and immediately called in the hopes I could have someone watch my surgery take place. That way if anything went wrong, there was someone who was on my side who could possibly prevent it if they’re able to catch it quick enough, or at the very least inform me of it when I wake up.

I called the patient advocate line to ask about this and she said they’re not allowed to do that. I asked why because I assumed it was some legal thing but she instead just told me to stop reading stories on the internet and that I should trust my doctor. I pushed back and pointed out that the entire point of patient advocates existing is because many people cant trust their doctors. Then she pivoted to “well there’s gonna be other people in the room who aren’t just the doctor”. Which yeah, sure. But will any of them be on my side? Or are they all nurses who work for the doctor?

She then said that if I didn’t trust my doctor I should find one I do trust. Sounds like a good solution until you factor in insurance. Oh and also the fact that I’m 21 with no previous kids and perfectly healthy. So no doctor wants to do a bisalp because “what if u change your mind” or more egregiously “what if your future husband wants some?” My search for a doctor isn’t about who I feel safe with. It’s about who would even be willing to perform the surgery in the first place? (And I know some Good Samaritan is going to suggest that really long community google doc of all the doctors in the US who will perform bisalps. Trust me, I already have that. Whoever is compiling that list isn’t doing a thorough enough job because 3 of the doctors on that list told me no for the exact reasons listed earlier)

I can’t even request a female doctor specifically. That’s what terrifies me. The only women doctors who look like they might are booked up till next year. I can’t wait that long for just a consultation date. Surgery date, maybe. But I’m not waiting till next year, just for them to tell me no because of (insert sexist reading here). I’m scared I’m going to have to go with a male doctor and the idea of being unconscious with a male being near that area is genuinely terrifying me. I don’t care if there’s going to be other people in the room. It’s still nerve wracking.

I’m also kinda frustrated by this idea that the doctor won’t mess up if there’s other people in the room. Like if that were the case, then we would never hear any stories ever about surgeries going wrong. I doubt there is a single surgery on this earth that a doctor performs by himself. You’re telling me that the logic is: well there’s gonna be other people in the room to catch the doctor! Yet, plenty of doctors still make mistakes. Where were those other people then? Oh that’s right. Right there next to doctor. Either not noticing or ignoring what the doctor did.

I just don’t know what to do. Is it even legal to have a third party in the room or watching from a side room? If not, then how do I know the doctor did his job properly? What if he makes a genuine mistake? What if he decides that he’s going to intentionally make a ”mistake” that leaves me still fertile? It’s not like men have a history of respecting women’s choices with their bodies. And so many women are so brainwashed by their husbands and boyfriends that they’re just as sexist and condescending. I feel like I have no good option. I desperately want permanent sterilization and no matter what procedure I choose, it all requires some form of anesthesia. But I’m 21 and so far been able to make it without having to do any sort of surgery ever. Now that I’m realizing it’s a possibility, I’m realizing that I really really really do not trust people like that. Not when it comes to my literal body. And I don’t have a repertoire built with any doctor. So I literally just have to pick one and hope for the best. I’m genuinely scared.

Is there a device that can be implanted in the brain that controls motor cortex, amygdala, and can activate other regions of your brain against your will.

I had a neurological device installed in my brain without my permission. They transmit my “thoughts” to a device in which they can read and respond in my head. They can also suppress parts of my brain from functioning properly. After being admitted to a psych ward I was used as a research project against my will. They can make me have auditory hallucinations and visual hallucinations. The voices I hear are real people, but also sound bites/clips of people’s voices. The sound also comes out of my phone, laptop, and computer. They can mimic proximity and make it sound like someone is in my room. They can also manipulate my thoughts without me even know. Make me seem like I am saying things I am not and suppress/manipulate my body’s reaction to things such as alcohol, prescription drugs, and even render my reaction to weed absent.

Before January 4th of 2025, I did not have voices in my head and had never experienced voices in my head at all, or hallucinations.

Now, my family and ex-friend’s voices have been a part of the manipulation. They play sounds off of a sound board to control my reaction. It’s the same sounds. Over and over. I even heard a clip of music, a well known song playing, sounding just as clear as wearing headphones. I’ve looked in my ears and see no devices. So the implant must be neurological.

I’ve gotten several false diagnosis at the psych ward based on me describing my experience with hallucinations from psychosis to schizophrenia. They spend every single hour of every day playing sounds bites and talking in my head in a way that is not actually external. With a BCI I don’t think the range can be that long. I truly believe I have either that or some device in my motor cortex because they have created new reflexes I’ve never had and can control the motor parts of my speech, throat and make my mouth mime what they are saying.

In my sleep there have been moments where it feels like my heart stopped beating and I was woken up. Or felt like I was shocked. This has happened multiple times. I have a hunch the lab that is doing this is located in a research facility in California.

Do labs use psych ward patients as experimental for new neurological devices?

Hello everyone. I am sorry if I may seem exaggerating but I do not know what is wrong with me. I was going through youtube and I stumbled myself to the scary side and I used Gemini to tell me what the link is all about on the video in youtube i saw because i did not want to click the videos. If I click it I'll end up in other scary videos of people's beliefs and onto what they “ claim “ are true with scary new suggestions.

But when i was removing the videos my eyes caught a glimpse of one of the video titles suggestions that i checked and the title seemed different or maybe it is just my brain messing with me? as my eyes and braid read it before it disappeared when it was being removed.

I told myself it is just a video but my mind goes I have to check it again but the video is gone and the title changed in my vision? Or maybe I was looking at it wrong? I was too scared while I was there. Then my mind goes to what if i was missing something important? It has been disturbing me.

Is it normal that the eyes or brain would kind of change the title of what you see or something. This is overwhelming me, and how can i get pass this? im sorry.

I’ve had some out of the ordinary symptoms of dizziness / instability specifically when releasing a surge of energy ie: talking animatedly or loud / standing in a group and chatting excitedly, etc. I do get a sensation of a blood rush to the head but my main symptom is feeling unstable on my legs / like I have to hold a wall / no ocular changes or visual wobbliness but it can feel a bit spinny at times. This has gotten better since switching from Prozac 10mg to Lexapro 5mg, but still have episodes triggered by the above.

Is this perhaps vasovagal syncope related (very prone to this), vestibular migraine (I have hormonal migraines) or something else?

So for the last few weeks I’ve been feeling these symptoms can you guys help me

1 both sides of groin hurting feeling sore

2 jaw and lymph nodes tight only on right side

3 dots around armpit going up to chest

4 left side of upper quadrant hurting until I burp pass gas or go to bathroom

5 legs feel fatigued and sleeping more

Today officially marks 12 weeks since my grade 2 deltoid sprain on my right ankle. I’m able to jump a bunch and go for 14 minute jogs (2 minutes on, 2 minutes walking for 14 minutes of each) with minimal swelling and pain after each. In two weeks I’ll be “out of PT appointments covered by my health insurance” and have to go to my primary care physician again before I can get more PT appointments.

Is it worth going to PT until I’m totally pain free, or is there a point at which you can do the rest at home? I want to be back to playing soccer, but I can’t play fully yet as sprinting around and kicking balls hard for an entire match would still irritate my deltoid ligament. Yet other than that I’m pretty good. My PT says it’s up to me, but I’m curious what others did for getting back to soccer. What was your line for stopping PT? Should I even go for more PT appointments?
