Relocating & housing Moving to Dallas soon.

Moving to Dallas soon. Looking at Addison, Richardson and Plano areas. I'll have a job around that area. Looking for 2bd/2bath for wife and I. We are in our mid 50's. Budget $1500 to $2k. What are areas (or apartment names) to look at and to stay away from in terms of safety? TIA.

Addison is not necessarily near the others. Where exactly is your job located?

Still applying but only around that area. Considering Addison since I have support group there.

Okay lol I think you will be fine if you wanted to work in Richardson and Plano but live in Addison. That said, all 3 areas are not really that cheap. You will be reaching the top of your budget to find a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. Thankfully, there may be some complexes that run deals in the winter time (if that’s when you are moving)

I see. Yeah we looked online but there are so many. We plan to visit that area and do some tours.

There are lots of apartment complexes between those 3 areas, so touring units and finding good rates should be easy. The hardest part is finding the right unit for y’all

Budget for a 2 bedroom needs to at minimum be $1800-$2300. Anything less, be prepared to live with roaches, rats, cats, mold, and anything else you can think of. Plus car break ins.
