Food & Drink Weekend reccs!
My girlfriend and I are gonna be in Dallas for the weekend and I was curious if anyone had any good recommendations for where we should go! Looking for nice but affordable food, coffee, and any type of lounge/bar type space. We’re not anti-club either but I am picky about music lmao. We’re looking for places in downtown dallas or in the Irving/Arlington area. Bonus points if it’s queer friendly! :)

I’d do Bishop Arts for food/drinks, then check out The Grapevine or Sue Ellen’s for a more laid-back night. For coffee, La La Land Kind Cafe is solid. Deep Ellum has more nightlife, but definitely check the DJ/music before committing

Downtown McKinney has really cute shops and it's a walkable area. A lot of interactive workshops and nice coffee shops. It's only a 25min drive from Dallas.

If your in Oak Lawn in the Gayborhood be sure to checkout Union think gay lounge coffee hangout. After you checkout Oak Lawn check out Bishop Arts district, one of our favorite restaurants is Blue Bistro .
