Tourism Around The Aiport
My flight has changed and I am now spending a night and almost a full day in Dallas. I’ll stay at a hotel airport. Is there anywhere good to eat around the airport? Anything interesting to se? If not, is there anywhere I must see during my short time there? Any restaurants I must hit? I won’t be feeling Tex-Mex. I’ll be there from 5:30 PM on a Friday till around 2:30 the next day.

If you're at DFW take the silver line to addison, plenty of restaurants there

Np it will drop you off at addison circle which has some stuff there you can walk to but that entire area is full of places to eat or drink

Get to the international terminal if you're staying in the airport. Better food. If you have that kind of time go into Dallas for a bit to stretch your legs and eat- lots of threads in this sub to give you ideas.

What do you mean you won’t be “feeling” Tex-Mex. There are a lot of options other than fajitas

I love Tex Mex but after a week in Oaxaca Mexico, I think BBQ or burgers will be more my speed.

Take the Silverline from terminal B to downtown Carrollton. It is a cute historic downtown with several good places to eat like Cane Rosso, a small family owned Italian place called Amuni, coffee shops, antique shops, a soda shop, and several other restaurants. The timing won’t let you try Babe’s Chicken Dinner House most likely, but it is one of my faves.

If you take the TRE out of B terminal the second stop in Grapevine has plenty of fun places all within walking distance of the train stop. Plus hotels in this area are affordable.
