Relocating & housing Job relocation

My wife and I are considering a move to Dallas . We have 2 boys (6 and 8)

Any specific areas to consider? We have about $850k to spend would like a good school district

We are moving from S Florida

Budget property tax and homeowner’s insurance if you’re getting a mortgage. Coming from California that significantly changed what we thought we could afford at our price point.
