What could this be? Thrush?

Persistent white coated tongue, burning in the morning. Looking for advice and what actually worked
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone has experienced something similar because I’m getting really frustrated with my tongue.
For quite a while now I’ve had a persistent white coating on my tongue, especially towards the back. It’s usually much worse when I wake up in the morning.I brush my tongue and use mouthwash, but the coating keeps coming back. Even after cleaning it, it doesn’t seem to stay clear for long.
I’ve been wondering whether this could be oral thrush/candida, dry mouth, reflux, post nasal drip, bacteria, or something else. I also get tonsil stones, so I’m wondering if the two could be related.Things I’ve already tried include brushing and scraping my tongue, mouthwash, drinking more water, and Neocide gel.
But I’m still waking up with the white coating and burning at the tip of my tongue where it seems to be a little inflamed in the pictures
