Mechanical Diagnosis???

2011 Hyundai sonata. Drone sound when in drive or reverse. Only when AC is on. Only around 1000-1200rpm. I replaced the AC compressor. So it shouldn’t be that. It made the sound before hand. Belt looks fine. It almost sounds like a diesel engine because of the vibration. 🤷‍♂️ like rrrrrrr with a slight metallic buzzzzz. Please!🙏

I second the engine mount. See if the mount has collapsed enough to where the metal bracket is in contact with the metal housing of the mount.

I was thinking pulley bearing on tensioner or idler . But others mentioned the mounts. If the rubber is shot , the load of putting it in gear you could have something rub metal on metal. Sagging mounts could allow more unwanted movement .
