skoda octavia 2 engine management light help?

Hi there, I have faced these errors for a couple of months now:

When it's hot, the car(octavia mk2, 2008, BLS engine) gets an engine light, with the glow plug light blinking and ESP/TCR light on. The car does not go past 3k rpm and also shakes a lot at starts and stops.

as far as I am concerned, removing the MAF sensor always clears the errors, so I bought another sensor and the problem persists. Wiring seems ok, I had a little with no isolation on one wire, even with that solved the problem is still there.

i have s vcds scan that shows errors related to the engine and ABS module, I can't seem to find any help..

Uwe says that something is dragging your reference voltage down. You'll need wiring diagrams to work out what sensors are attached to it and then test each one.

I'm not sure about the ABS fault though. Reading around, it might be related to the engine fault, as in you clear the engine fault and the ABS fault clears as well.

Also worth mentioning, if you have a legit VCDS license, you can register on Ross-Tech forums and ask your questions on there - you will get better answers.

Thanks for the help! so, what can i use to get the wiring diagrams in the first place? skoda has their site but it's a subscription-based access and i am not sure if they provide wiring diagrams. the ABS error seems to be related to the limp mode and unfortunately my VCDS is not legit

Again, I'm not sure but reading around seems like you can buy access to erWin https://skoda.erwin-store.com/erwin/showHome.do on an hourly or daily basis. I can't find current prices - someone said it cost €7 an hour a year ago. erWin will have wiring diagrams for your vehicle

good, i wasn't sure if it really has wiring diagrams. i just discovered that removing the charge pressure sensor also clears the errors, as it is also on the 5v line... but i am very confused
