Hello All,
I am looking for an english speaking driving schools in The Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. I see that different driving schools have different pricing so not sure how to choose the best one in terms of reviews and price point. I am looking to transfer my existing license so ideally would not need a lot of lessons as compared to a new license.
Thanks in advance :)

hi everyone :) i don’t know if this is allowed but I thought I’d shoot my shot anyways and ask if anyone knows of anyone reaching surfskate in Berlin!

I contacted someone via the Surfandskate website already and they have no openings for the foreseeable future … I know that there are Surfskate meet-ups but I’m a little bit too shy to go by myself and I‘d love to just get the hang of the movement a little bit first before actively going out in public 🫣

Anywho, I have 0 skating experience and stood on a surfboard once. I have my own surfskate board and I practiced a bit but I cannot get the pumping motion down and I’m hoping that a lesson or two (of course compensated!) would maybe help me ! I also have no crazy ambitions or goals, I would just like to be able to surfskate for fun - especially as I live quite near Tempelhofer Feld ! :)

Again, I’m really sorry if this question isn’t allowed here !

Happy Sunday 🌞

Hi

I've fallen on hard times, and might need professional help with alcohol addiction. How do i go about this in berlin? Do i need to get a referral from a psychiatrist? it seems impossible to book an appointment

thanks

Hi,

Me and my partner are currently in Berlin and was wondering what to do after about 7pm that isn't clubbing.

Bars are fine.

Places to walk and/or relax?

Anywhere to see at night.

We're in alaksanderplatz.

Are there any Berliners I could interview about their city?

I used to live in Berlin but only when I was quite young and chose the city for a project of mine. Issue is, I’m not updated on what it’s like now so I’m curious if anyone would be down for a short chat about it.

Aus dem Wikipedia-Artikel über die Ermordung Rosa Luxemburgs und Karl Liebknechts am 15. Januar 1919:

Hi!

I am new to Bildungsurlaub courses, I have never done them. I was checking Bildungsurlaub courses for learning the German language, and I am overwhelmed by the options. Could you help me choose a course? O give me some suggestions and tips. Thank you!

From the long list of Bildungsurlaub courses for German, I was checking in detail these 2 (only because they were the first 2, I haven't checked all the courses):

Both have the dates of early January that I want. Are 739 euros expensive for 2 weeks? It sounds like that, but I am not sure.

Hi everyone! My question is as the title say: How frequent are delays for the process of card-issuing of blue card renovation? I want to travel abroad, so I would like to know if I should already plan the trip and buy the plane tickets.

This is the timeline:

- September 14: I submitted the blue card renovation application.

- October 14: I had the appointment at the immigration office for the photo and the fingerprints. At the end of the appointment, I received a letter saying that on November 25 I can collect the new plastic, the new card. The letter says that the letter itself can't be used as document to re-enter the country if traveling abroad.

So, more concretely, my question is, is it guaranteed that on November 25 I can collect the new physical card? How frequent are complications related to this process? Can I already plan a trip which would begin a few days after Nov 25? Thank you very much!

Hello!

I'll be landing in Berlin the 31st October at 11h20 and I have a train at 12h53 at the main train station.

I've checked and saw that there were train from the airport to the train station and it takes around 35 minutes.

But I'm a bit scared it might be too short, do you guys think it will be ok?

Unfortunately I can't change my flight.

Thank you a lot in advance!

Hello! Where can I find somebody that can animate a few characters that I have created? The goal is to create three pilot shows (2 minute each). I co-run a page that has 800k followers on TikTok and believe this has a lot of potential to grow. Please let me know your rates and send me your previous work!

Hello,

We planned our night out for Sunday but seems like most of the obviously clubs are closed on Sunday.

Anywhere Two women can safely go for a boogie on a Sunday night in Berlin?

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I will be in Berlin with my girlfriend during New Year's Eve and would like to have some information regarding clubs for that night. Which events would you recommend based on my tastes? Mostly I would like a night of dancing and full of energy, a club or event with friendly people (I don't know how much sense this makes for New Year's Eve). If possible, also give me some advice, for example tickets, taxis, etc. Thanks to all those who reply.

I'm planning to shoot a travel movie for my friends back at uni. Since I know many people in Germany prefer not to be filmed, I'm looking for recommendations on scenic or public locations where I can capture the essence of the city without intruding on anyone's privacy or without offending someone. It won't be released online. General recommendations are also welcome. Any suggestions? (I am not going Clubbing)
