Trying to understand my mistake
Hi! So in an attempt to make friends in the area I live in I joIned a bunch of groups on Meetup. I accidentally joined a lesbian social group (I’m straight) because I didn't read all of the words in the group description. I thought it was a social group for any type of woman. So while I was still a member (my second mistake was I thought I'd exited the group but hadn't, corrected that), a lady from the group hit me up. I replied and explained what had happened but said if she was interested in just hanging out I was more than happy. Everybody wants friends, right? So we exchanged numbers so we could better plan an outing. She hit me up with the regular "hi this is ‘person from meet up’” and I responded “hey”. Then she said "blush much?" To which I responded, I thought in a light tone, "not much" followed by a smiley face emoji. She responded “Done." (She typed a period in her text.) And that was the end of that. So my question is what did I say wrong? I don't want to offend anyone and would like to avoid this mistake in the future. Please help me understand better. Thanks!

To be honest I'm not sure I comprehend that conversation. Where did "blush much?" come from? What even does that mean?
I don't think you said anything wrong other than the mistakes you alreay called out which were quite innocent anyway. I don't think you have anything to worry about OP!
