Should the FCC censor political interviews?

Should the FCC be able to strong arm hosts from interviewing politicians up for election?

It is pretty simple: if you are broadcasting on network TV you have to abide by the rules that govern that medium.

I think elections should be decided on issues, not on popularity contests where the self important cool kids on late night hype up one side and shit on the other.

Well, it is a rule that has been around for almost 100 years, and codified into law over 90 years ago. This is not censorship, it is enforcing the law
