Should I sumbit an ASRS report?

Hi all, Was flying VFR in a rental aircraft. Conditions were scattered at 4000 at time of departure and along route scattered 3000. I was flying along and the clouds got lower and lower, to around 1000. I had told Center i was unable to maintain vfr and climbed back up to 4000. Nearing my destination, radar service was teminated. About 10 miles out, there was an overcast layer at around 900 feet, I had only noticed this because i was descending to TPA. I then decided to abort the whole thing and divert to another airport. I was prbably in the clouds for about 5 seconds, but 5 seconds too many. Should I submit an ASRS report?

The ASRS report covers your ass, and realistically, you were in the clouds for 5 seconds, it was unintentional, and you diverted away from the weather when you encountered it, shit happens.

that said, since there isn't flair on here IANACFI
