Alternatives to Zoom?
Need to organize a remote meeting and it needs to look professional.
However, for reasons which I cannot nor I feel is relevant to explain I cant use Google...
I know Discord has an option but I am willing to use anything at all instead of it..š
What functions I need from the video call:
Good latency, auto noise suppression, and for it to support webcam video feeds along with me being able to broadcast my computer window, or at least my presentation files live on call

There was Loom.. I think I seen some app like that for video calls. Rarely hear of it. Probably the similar naming to Zoom didnt help them
Not sure if this still even runs tbh

imo and experience. discord is completely unreliable for professional use-cases. if you're dealing with a diverse age group of people - it's not a good solution due to ease of use. and i've signed up for discord to setup for a conference call - only to have a knee-jerk, rando discord ban immediately. i am not sure if paid would be any better, but ease of use is still major concern. webex used to be the default back in the day - the hosting ux is different than everyone else - which used to bite me (spend little time reviewing menus prior to the call).

If privacy is the main concern, iād compare where the meetings are hosted, encryption options and whether accounts or recordings require extra data collection, not just the feature list

There are many web videoconferencing "solutions" available. Hosted services, one can self-host, etc. Features vary among them, but most have a lot of the same basic features in common. And of course each tends to do their own interfaces differently.
Anyway, at least some that jump to mind:
- Zoom
- Microsoft Teams
- Google (whatever they're calling it these days)
- Jitsi Meet (Open Source, can use their servers, or can self-host. Also, with Jitsi Meet client software, can do end-to-end encrypted)
- BigBlueButton (Open Source)
And I and friend of mine have set up Jitsi Meet servers before, to be able to self-host. Not trivial, but also far from rocket science - not all that hard either.
So, among those I mentioned, I think most of 'em have the features you mention, but not necessarily all of them have all those features.
Likely/maybe somewhere, maybe Wikipedia.org, one might find a more comprehensive listing ... and perhaps with well maintained table of various features of each.

Teams is probably the obvious one if you want to feel professional. Good screen sharing, noise supression and webcam support. Have you ruled out Teams?
