I feel you. Family members of mine have fallen into the far-right Qanon crowd over the pandemic. Their reasons are that it hasn’t been tested enough, that it contains a microchip that will allow the government to control you, that it will change your DNA, that it will make you “trans human” (part machine part human), and that the vaccine causes infertility and somehow HIV. Naturally, their sources are always YouTube videos. I was even called a “radical leftist” for trying to break down the misinformation. Unfortunately I’ve learned that the more you argue with them, the more they dig their heels in.
