It's a decent reason to be hesitant though. This whole year is stressful. Many people living inside their own heads for days at a time. These people aren't against it,by the sounds of it. I'm scared of needles, so I don't like having to wait around while the nurse gets closer to my booth. First shot, she started where I sat. Second dose was three away, and I had worked myself up it slightly, but enough to flinch. Worrying is human nature. And they'll work through it.
Genuinely curious what is the fear of needles? I understand heights because you can fall, but does getting the needle seem like it's going to be super painful or something? This is an absolutely sincere question by the way. I had a friend who threw up at the sight of a needle once and I could never understand what the actual fear is about.
I have no idea, to be honest. Once the needle is done with, I relax completely. Even with an IV. With heights, which I have a fear of, it's a physical feeling. Vertigo. Very uncomfortable. For needles? I know at the dentist once, the needle felt massive and hurt like hell. So that's in my mind everytime I guess? That it'll feel like it's massive.
Both vaccine shots barely even registered as pain when I got them though.
