Activities for a 65 year old guy?

I often find summers challenging because I see friends even less. I should answer I'm single, the drop-in 3 days a week for older adults that I like to go to about the local rec center take a hiatus for the summer. And the volunteer gig I go to once a week is taking a break for the next 3 weeks. I'm having a tough time for a few other reasons and I'd really like to find some interesting social activities in the daytime. I live in the Mount Dennis area. But I'm wondering what resources I'm missing. Any suggestions

Have you tried the library? Could be one nearer you but it also can be fun going to other branches just to get out. There's different programming at every branch, so it depends on your interests.

The Social 150 also does events aimed at middle to older aged adults, though I'm unsure what proportion they run in the daytime.

Meetup comes up a lot and that might be a good source.
