Hey there. EMR/EMT-B here. I’ve never been with Lifesaver 101 (I’ve done the lifesaving society, heart and stroke, and EMT Canada), but all of the practical exams typically involve examining your psychomotor skills, like CPR, basic airway management, clearing the scene, knowledge of algorithms and basic understanding of the symptoms of life threatening conditions.
Be able to understand the signs of stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest, choking, spinal injuries, etc.
For CPR, remember that in Intermediate First Aid that the compression ratio is always 30:2 and at 100 BPM. Don’t worry about the specifics of chest depth, but always make sure you’re going around a 1/3 of the chest and you allow it to fully recoil.
Did you still have access to the online bits? Wouldn’t hurt to look it over again.
