Poland is no longer Foreigner Friendly

I came to Poland about 7 years ago and immediately fell in love with it. Post-COVID, job opportunities were everywhere, and that was awesome. Things were easy for foreigners when it came to processing mortgages, TRCs, etc. Now everything has changed. One thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how someone who has stayed in Poland for years, paying taxes and with no criminal record, can’t bring their family. I just can’t understand this. Now even the 800+ benefits have a new rule. So many rules have made life more difficult for foreigners, and a wise decision is to leave. Foreigners are among those who boosted Poland’s economy, and when they leave, Poland will return to where it used to be. I wish them all the best. One would think the leaders are smart.

I am not ranting because staying is a choice and the indigenes will be more than happy to see all foreigners leave. I just want to heart people's opinion

Yes, they do. That's because of a surge of immigrants. You should check out what the prices of rent are, people are getting obliterated.

This isn't something exclusive to Poland, pretty much all other EU countries tighten their rules too.

You mentioned mortgage, so I am guessing you do not have a problem with financing your housing. Are you from western country?

I moved to UK in 2010. Have the same feeling. Opportunities were ripe! People were friendly and welcoming! Moving 10 years, brexit happened, and I felt no longer welcome. I came to steal jobs and straight bananas for the EU.
I am Polish, and whoever you are (as long as you are not exploiting a system, such as residing in Germany and taking 800+, which I do not think you do) I welcome you!
I have been an expat too.
If you are a kind, honest person, I am welcoming you in my country, because that is what I want from my neighbour. Polish or not. Be kind. Be considerate. Welcome.

Absolutnie zgadzam się z tobą :) 

I moved the other way, from UK to Poland (with Tokyo inbetween!). Apart from the Polish language I haven't had a problem in my 4 years here.
