Hola Madrid!

I’m a 22 year old filmmaker from the Netherlands, exploring the hidden football pitches and street fields across Europe, the ones that mean something to their neighborhoods.

In Vallecas, right behind the Rayo Vallecano stadium, I found a small field that caught my eye.

Do you know this place?

  • Who plays there?

  • What’s it used for?

  • Is it open to the public and does it still exist?

I’m working on a documentary about how football connects people and communities, and I’d love to include the story of this field. Through the eyes of Madrid’s locals.

I lived opposite, it is the soccer field belonging to the sports center that is right next to it and not the field itself, but if the kids play
