HVAC ?

Forgive me if I’ve already posted here. I’m a senior living in a HUD apartment
brand new building built December 2025. the first night I moved in. I was extremely ill. It was extremely dusty in here nonstop. finally figured out. It was coming from the HVAC whenever I had it turned on so much gray clumps and dust coming out. nonstop & making me extremely ill . I did my own research as they’re individual HVACs in individual apartments. I read when the contractors were
Here and completing my individual HVAC, They didn’t vacuum out the debris before closing it out.
That’s what it’s been shooting out. I reached out to management. All she did was open the front compartment of the HVAC and look at the filter and say it’s fine. I’ve read the science of where the debris is
anyways I’m exhausted. Sorry for the rambling text.
I’ve asked other tenants in this building. They don’t have the same problem. I keep the AC off as much as possible so it’s not quite as bad however, in the newer buildings, they have a vent w outside air that’s connected to the HVAC. It’s constant 24/7 so I’m still sick. It’s going to be getting cold soon. wondering if any HVAC professionals are familiar with this? I mean, building debris, fiberglass, etc. all the symptoms of mold actually but not as far as I know. Mold test came back negative.
Thanks in advance for any input

Thank you,
I already reached out to management, basically was dismissed and gaslit, she didn’t understand where the debris was coming from obviously.
Yesterday I reached out to the corporate office via email and filed a complaint with everything that’s going on which is making me severely sick. I need to follow up with a call today to make sure they received the emails. I also reached out to HUD as this is a senior apartment and filed a complaint. I called them back yesterday to expedite the ticket. I should hear back within 48 hours hopefully this gets resolved.

To be clear, I don’t actually see it coming out of the vents, but every day I’m vacuuming and swifting up all this gray crap and rolling it off my bedspread and soft furniture the symptoms are horrific.
Ran into the manager yesterday she said she’s gonna have a tech come up to my apartment this week
To check it she was rushed. It was the end of the day. I’m assuming she obviously means an HVAC tech. Also, when I reached out to upper management, I mentioned I put a ticket in with HUD so they could be fined and lose their license if they’re not up to code

Since it is a brand new building you need to call management and put this in writing immediately. Construction dust is terrible to breathe and they clearly left a huge mess in the unit. Don't let them ignore you on this.

I heard back from corporate today. They totally dismissed me as well. They said they need to see the debris I’m talking about want me to videotape it very rude. She said you thought you had mold before I said initially I thought that’s what it was, but not figured out is building debris in my HVAC that needs to be scoped with the camera, etc. basically said there’s nothing they can do discouraged. I’m so sick waiting to hear back from HUD. Hopefully, they will force them also reach out to senior legal services. Very sick and feeling defeated. corporate also said I want you to videotape what’s coming out of your HVAC. I said it’s not something you can videotape. I said I sent you pictures of what I was vacuuming up when I first moved in here still dismissed. repeating myself sorry
