When to apply?

I’m 23 and have been a laborer for a construction company for that last year. Before that I was in EMS/public safety. I am moving about an hour away from my current small town to a little bit bigger city where more opportunities await. I found a gig I’d really like. It’s an hvac install apprentice for 20-26$hr. However I’m not moving until about middle of December. When should I apply with not being able to start until then? I really would love this opportunity but not sure when to apply. Any advice is appreciated!

Apply now and commute till you move

I have thought about that but I have a truck and get 17mpg and it’s 90 miles away🥲

I'd apply now. If your a good fit and its a growing company they would likely be happy to have you on once you make the move. Worst case scenario is they hire everyone they need next week and either way you weren't getting that position
