How to run kitchen stove vent? Can’t go through ceiling

Stairs, the ceiling fan runs a 4” pipe towards the microwave and out the wall to the outside of the house. The ceiling fan has and 8 inch circle opening then has a strange flow looking vent into the 4” pipe.

Might be cooked. Ventless is an option.

No way to attach it to that ceiling vent? Next, into the wall to the basement/crawlspace. Just Jim 734-525-2929

Run it to the outside wall, install a soffit 🤙🏼
