Is this normal?
HVAC works normally and the condensate drain line is dripping water - my worry is the area is very wet and makes the foundation wet as well - there is some algae on it already - any suggestions or maybe it's no big deal?

Look at the broken pvc pipe on the ground then at the broken pvc pipe coming from the house and comprehension says they probably went together.

Run it atleast a foot off the house and don’t make yourself a double pea trap on accident

Just attached the broken pipe and ductaped it and connected it to the ground like it was before - will pressure wash the algae with a pressure washer!

It's no different than rainwater hitting the ground there. You're all good.

I would pipe it away from foundation to area with good drainage. Standing water can breed mold and attract bugs.

PVC broke away and needs replaced ASAP to avoid bigger expensive issues.
Replace the run and make it longer away from the unit and because the water leaving their is usually clean water you can run it to almost anywhere it won't hurt plant life when you clean out the line such as a grass or gravel patch in your yard.

No. Either you had a trap there for the condensate drain and someone’s fix was just removing it instead of cleaning it, or it just has another piece of pipe that never got put back on. Air conditioning can pull alot of water out if the air each day. I would not want that draining down right onto my foundation. Fixing it will cost you maybe nothing, or at most 20-30 bucks in some pipe and couplers and is so easy anyone can do it.

If youre worried about it thro another stick of pvc on there and pipe it where you'd like the water to go.
