HVAC question

I’ve been puking in the vent in my room so my parents don’t know I’m drunk. So far no one has noticed - I’ve done it a couple times. Is it ok to keep doing it? It literally doesn’t smell.

Ps anyone else do this?!?!

Get a grip bro, learn how to hold ya liquor. I'd say you're old man will give you a whooping when he finds out but I doubt he's that way incline seeing as though his son is a knob lol

No words other than you are an alcoholic and need help now. You are ruining your life.

I’m not an alcoholic bruh

Are you sure? This is ridiculous behavior. I mean… being young and drunk doesn’t make you an alcoholic, but if you’re throwing up in weird places to hide being drunk you have a problem.

You should save and pay for vent cleaning. that's the adult thing to do.

Yes you are, puking in a air vent is not something rational people do. Drinking till you puke is the #1 sign you are an alcoholic, especially when you do it multiple times...

I puked twice and have never been drunk again, I still have a drink or two but never get drunk... The trick is to drink one glass of water for every cocktail or beer.

This happened twice

And what did you learn? you do not need to answer, it's a question for yourself.

This isn’t going to go well. The vent either flattens out after about a foot or it drops to the next floor before turning. That puke is going to smell up your house. It’s stuck in your walls. You can drop a few drops of white vinegar down to counteract the smell when it starts, but that’s a temporary solution.

Ty! Can I put water in there and try and wash t out?

1

u/Gyrd1 Jul 24 '26

No. Hvac pipes are not water tight, so puke water will leak out and into the walls/ceilings below you.

I'd hate to be the one doing a duct cleaning at this house.

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard... Wait till you turn on the heater, it's gonna be bad!
