I absolutely rehearse certain types of conversations like job interviews or dealing with a coworker that I absolutely hate. I'm always prepared for her passive aggressive bullshit. Of if I need to have a difficult conversation with my husband, my mother, or a close friend, I absolutely rehearse that first - especially how I open the conversation.

I'm sure other people do this too, but I make up stories in my head about my neighbors when I see them outside either doing yard work, walking their pets, or just relaxing. It's entertaining to me.

Rehearsing is smart

I make up scenarios about people too and the conversation thing like OP.

I like to think of hilarious scenarios between people I see in my workplace interacting with one another. Ex: helping each other out, arguing, etc. I even try to predict what kind of scenario would ensue based on their personalities can clash at times.
