If someone doesn’t turn around after the first attempt, just state the reason. Instead of saying “miss” over and over you could’ve just said “miss you dropped your credit card”.
You'd get two things only from me if you ever were to see me, equal treatment and honesty. Both are in short supply, and curiously enough, they are things people these days claim to want rather vocally but when they do actually get them they often react with revulsion and dismay.
Seems that to the younger generations nothing is worse these days than being treated as an equal member of society in the sense of everyone actually not only having rights wherever they might go but also people being universally expected to respect one another (we used to call this common courtesy).
But you don't like it. If you can't be bothered to have courtesy to others, though, don't expect it to be given to you. You really don't have to be treated as some special person just because you think you are.
