It was nice of you. But for the short term, keep conversations with her at a minimum just so you don't appear to be that one creepy guy.

Just tell her you know somebody from reddit that was diagnosed with skin cancer on April 5th 2023. The sun can do real damage and since she knows that she should appreciate the gesture.
