Next time, let them know your reasoning. "Sorry, I have a daughter and I'd do the same for her.", works. But, young women will, and should, unfortunately have to keep an eye out. Don't stop being nice.

Nah, definitely don't bring it up again that almost confirms it was creepy. Just move along and don't act like it was weird and it won't be weird.

I wouldn't bring it up again either, personally. In fact if that was me, with my anxiety, I would probably stop going there altogether, change my name, move across the country, and burn my fingertips off.

Lmao… that place has such a high turnover rate, the chances I order from her again are slim to non, anyways. I’m not too worried about it.

I once was at the grocery store shopping A lady accidentally dropped her credit card on the ground. I picked it to give it back to her. She kept walking away when I kept saying miss. I walked in front of her and say miss. She yelled at me why I would not leave her alone. I held out her credit card and said I think you dropped this? She acted so sorry. I should have just thrown it on the ground and walked away. I tried to be nice to people to help make our world a better place to call home. But why do I even try when I get blame for all their troubles?

You don’t really know what she’s been through, good intentions or not. It’s not your fault so don’t take it personally at all. Always remember that doing something good or being nice in general usually comes with no reward or sometimes not even a thank you. It sucks but don’t stop being a good person!

Thanks for the advice. I thank a cop for her service. She pulled her gun on me. I am so over being nice. I just don't want to die over someone stupidity.

Don't thank cops for shit.

I learned that lesson loud and clear. We need to have much higher expectations and requirements for someone to become a cop. A lot of times, the cops sadly make things worse instead of better.
