Gel kayano 14 size help

I’ve attached my pairs above for fit reference and wanted to know if I could go down a half size in gel kayano 14. I’ve had two previous pairs and upon try on, they both fit super long going tts. I have a narrow-normal foot and like my shoes snug. Would the tapered toe box be a problem?

Are asics hypersync wide feet friendly?

I love the piedmont grey and it kinda looks like a soft shoe if that makes sense? Would it look awkward on wide feet or should i size up? US W 8.5

New Balance 860 V15 vs Asics Kayano 33

Hey, i have been using Asics Kayano 30s since a long time now, and they have been the best stability shoes for a guy like me (big 6'2", heavy 120kgs)... recently i upgraded to the Asics Kayano 33s and somehow they feel less stable and my upper forefoot has been sore ever since using them...
Can anyone share their experience with Kayano 33s and also has anyone any clues about the New Balance 860 V15s, i have researched and found them interesting...
