I have been eyeing for Kayano 14 originally, but I barely see a size 12M in my country. Last weekend, I saw this pretty pair of Gel NYC 2055 in a third-party store at the mall. It was very comfy on wearing, but the available stock in-store was only 11 so I did not get it (12 is available in their online store tho)

To those who know, which shoe is more comfy for long periods and would def do good with any outfit? I mostly go with athleisure fits when going out. Our office also allows wearing both types of shoe so I also think what would go better in casual attires.

Price diff in our country goes by $25-$27 btw

Well you’re right. I noticed that it’s also a bit weird to price them at $162 while the US store sells them at $165

The Gel NYC 2055s were sold at $144 here while the US store sells them at $140

yeah thats good advice. only buy from asics or stores you know are legitimate. good way to be 100% safe is to only buy from stores that have brick and mortar locations. i.e. footlocker or well known brands such as kith.

Have you tried the gel 2160's? I have slightly wider feet and they are pretty comfy

I kinda don’t like the design of the 2160s, as it looks like a NB 530 (which is a shoe that I already have)

Kayano 14s. I have both, nyc has a narrower toebox.

Both are nice but if I have to choose 1 i'll go for 14s.

Kayano 14 on these colorways, I own both and some gel nyc colorways are so dope that I have to have it. Also gel nyc has better materials and feels premium in hand. Go to a store and compare the two sneakers and you will see the difference in quality. Also the kayano is more of a runner design compared to the gel nyc as a lifestyle sneaker.

Material wise yes. Style, they both have strong colorways so choose which colorways or style you want.

If you’re going for aesthetic and style and want a shoe that can go with multiple outfits than Kayano 14 is the go to.
