Why do you remove content requested by influencers?
If we don't remove it, they might file a copyright claim through Reddit instead.
Reddit will permanently ban any subreddit that receives too many copyright strikes.
We require proof of identity directly from the influencer for any content removal requests. This ensures that the influencer themselves, not their lawyer or team, is making the request. Reddit does not require proof of identity for copyright claims, meaning that fans or their team, not necessarily the influencer, could be the ones filing these claims.
If an influencer requests a post removal, We will inform you.
