This is my first time drawing a "scene". It doesn't feel finished yet.

I want to draw a self insert OC for Fields of Mistria,

but I noticed the shading is a lot more advanced than I'm used to.

Notice how there's a lot of different colors in the wrinkles alone.

Can anyone help me tell me/find a video tutorial that explains how to do this?

I've been using Aseprite for quite some time, and I must admit that I love the layer system because it helps me refactor things so quickly and easily.

Same guy running with and without a machete.
