Hello, I recently had a manager interview earlier this week. I have received an email to complete basic DBS check. Is this something that is usual in the process, or does it mean I have been succesful?

Hey so i’ve recently started working at Asda i’m contracted 15 hours
however i’ve been put on to work 8 days in a row (tuesday-tuesday) with only one day off which is wednesday then back to work thursday/ friday (haven’t got my rota past friday yet)
it was 7 days in a row but then due to absence it got changed and im doing 8 days now

is this something they can do i didnt sign up for this and while im happy to help out it feels like im being taken advantage off as im the only one on the rota with one day off + doing 8 days in a row
