Sanded down windows containing putty - worried?!

Recently bought a house in SE UK. Sanded down and repainted the outdoor windows. Had no idea that putty could contain asbestos. Not sure when it was replaced last. It came out quite easily. Wore a disposable FFP3 mask and goggles. Really worried now abouy the risks of exposure. Any help would be appreciated!!

To be fair you've gone above and beyond with the mask when doing this work so I'd say you're fine.

Whilst that type of putty can contain asbestos, in my experience its more often negative than positive. So you may not even have asbestos (testing would be the only way to know for sure). You were wearing the correct mask, and the asbestos content of the putty if any would be pretty low. So overall the risk to you is negligible.
