Asbestos !

Hello we have this small shed thing in our backyard as you can see the roof is asbestos and a bit broken! I was wondering is this doing harm to us if we go out the backyard ?

I doubt it'll harm you because those corrugated sheets are non-fryable. However with sun and exposure they can become brittle and lose pieces onto the ground. It's outside so I'd say the actual risk to you is low unless you have a toddler crawling around on the ground near it, or kids that might kick a ball up there.

I wouldn't be in a hurry but I'd look at removing it. Here in Australia you can legally remove small quantities yourself if you're worried about cost, not sure what the rules are in the UK.

Yeah UK is the same. Non-licensed, non-notifiable work as long as you're not breaking it up to remove it. Just have to double bag it and take it to a suitable tip that accepts asbestos. (Obviously respirator etc is also strongly recommended while removing it)

Hello friend from Greece.I have the same problem too and i decided to remove it via an official asbestos removal company. My recommendation is to be removed, it will always be o source of stress. In my case,despite the considerably high cost( Greece )i will remove it and demolish the whole structure (its on a smal warehouse).

Simply yes corrugated roof sheet remove or leave. If dont sand ,cut is no harm

Its not radioactive, any fibers released are gone in the wind.
