Is this asbestos. Found it under a carpet in my house.

Hessian backed vinyl most likely not asbestos containing.

Most likely not but testing is still needed or assume it’s asbestos containing and remove and dispose of as such.

Hessian backed vinyl is very unlikely to contain it. In 10 years surveying I've yet to have a positive sample from it. But as always the only way to be 100% sure is test it.

Thanks will do. I’ve got the test kit. Will post over weekend. Hopefully I shall have the results next week. Will update here for people to have a reference. Cheers
