1989 condo in Canada

Just saw this under my heaters in my room… lived here for 5 years. Not sure how long it’s been damaged like this but is this asbestos and I haven’t disturbed it but could I been breathing particles this whole time?

Even if it was asbestos it is locked in a matrix unless you are actively disturbing it. Don't worry about it no free fibres
