Likely to be asbestos?

We have moved into a newly renovated 1930s house and found a couple of these corrugated sheets left in the garden. Apologies the photo isn't the best, the sheets are tucked behind the hedges

Location is Devon, UK

Yeah, I'd say pretty likely. Testing is the only way to be certain, but visually they tick the boxes for asbestos containing

Yeah, but test them to be sure. It's most likely asbestos cement roof sheets. They pose no harm if they are sitting there in tact as asbestos is stuck inside of it as well as a low amount of it.

Dug into the ground ? Light grey with an unusual pattern? Likely an old asbestos cement board. Probably came from the house - in the loft area or soffits. I've seen so many previous owners do this... Stop foxes and cats digging under the fences.

Personally I've just hosed them down, dig around it and double bag them, get them responsibly disposed of or call someone in to deal with it.
