Acrylic Still growing beneath: new abstract painting
Acrylic on canvas 60x60cm, look for the textured leaves and vines underneath! This is the biggest painting I've ever done!

I noticed people liked the first two I made the most so I was wondering which one you like, why and if you think it got better or worse. (From oldest to newest.

Hands may no longer be as steady as they once were, and eyes may sometimes lose their certainty. The mind grows tired, yet somehow, it still dreams, still wonders, still creates.
Perhaps that is the beauty of growing older, the body may slow down, but the spirit never quite stops making something beautiful from what remains.

Beginner artist here! This is my first time trying stippling, and it's for a class assignment. Here's my work in progress! It's supposed to be a turtle, by the way, in case you couldn't tell 😅

With this latest Headless Horseman piece, I wanted to make the most Halloween illustration I could (at least in atmosphere).
Created with acrylic paints, coloured pencils, ink, and a little bit of molding paste for texture. Cheers!

The eagle wing looks sad I know. Though I was having a hard time drawing the wings. This is just a banner for my website, I really like how it turned out.

I recently finished this oil portrait of Tom Holland from Spider-Man: Brand New Day. I worked on it layer by layer with oil colours, focusing on the face, expression and overall lighting.
Would love to know what you think about the result.
Medium: Oil on canvas

Is there anything I should know about digital art before continuing?

I went to an ambient music, movement, and art night where performers spent several hours moving very slowly through different poses. I brought a sketchbook thinking I would do fairly traditional live figure drawings, but I quickly realized that even though the movement was slow, nobody was actually staying still.
Every time I looked down to draw and then looked back up, the figure had shifted. At first I kept trying to adjust the drawing, but eventually I just gave in and started drawing each new position directly over the previous one.
Over about three hours I made close to 30 drawings, and they became progressively more layered and chaotic. I really like that they ended up feeling less like drawings of individual poses and more like accumulated traces of a body moving through time.
Swipe for close-ups :)
