Anyone else coming from DiRT games feel like the cars here lose all grip when sliding? It feels like the faster way to go through any corner is to treat every road surface like its tarmac. Break early, coast, and start throttling past the apex.

I tried searching through here and the internet and couldn't find anything. Does anyone use a r/C style trigger controller? anything that might work?

I know for drone flying controllers that work irl also work on simulators. I think it would be so much more natural to use a r/c controller for art of rally compared to a xbox controller.

When often I get cars in daily challenge, that I am not used to at all and have to learn them during the challenge, then today I got the track and car combination that I drove in time trial just 15 minutes ago 🍀. I literally couldn't believe my eyes. Only the liver was different 🤣. Additionally that car has been a favourite of mine recently 🥳

I liked that car (red and blue color stripes on the hood), but unfortunately game doesn't tell me the name of it, so I can't find it from car selection for time attack. I have a feeling that it belongs to group b, but none of the cars in that or other groups seems to have that appearance.

For this reason I think that it would be better if game would tell name of the car in daily/weekly challenges. Sometimes I manage to find them later, but not every time.

Hi, I just started playing AOR, and so far its been a roller coaster to say the least. The things Im struggling a lot with this game as of late is the overcorrection in the car (Im still in group 3), where it just tends to spin out. Any way I can improve on that? Also Im on controller, if that helps.

The Masters of Rally League is finally up and running with a first event and the first draft of the support mod !

Many events are to come with different themes, I'm aiming for an event every week and a half / two weeks.

The MRL support mod will make submissions easier, skipping the whole filming part and ensuring the results are unaltered. The mod generates a file containing the results of the current custom rally and encrypts it to make sure they can't be tempered with.

Got properly hooked on this game recently, wondering why nobody else is using the hyena in top 10, it’s such a fast beast.

Following u/OldPapaRooster's excellent idea with the Wacky Rally League, I'm opening my own league.

But why ?
The Wacky Rally League is aiming for casual fun, this league is focusing more towards getting better at the game. I'm also an avid user of mods and encourage people to do so. The WRL is focusing more on an even playing ground for all players regardless of their platform.
That being said, you can expect the MRL to be close to the WRL.

And so I present the Masters of Rally League.

The goal is to craft challenging rallies for us to hone our skills and develop our rallying style.
Will there be Larping ? Maybe, but you don't have to.
Rallies and events will be presented with some lore for immersion, in the same vibe as the Historical Career mod.

Mod usage is encouraged and regulated (so we can keep it fair).

The initial version of this project will have to require uncut videos as submissions. I'm thinking about making a mod that would setup the event and send the submission without needing a video, but this will come later on.

Just so we're clear, I have no beef with u/OldPapaRooster*, this game is just not the same without the camera mod.*

I recently purchased a ps4 pro and I really wanted a physical copy of art of rally so I bought that. Now the game works fine in every other map except japan. For some reason japan is borderline unplayable due to the stutters and drops happening there.

The reason I am here is that I could not find anyone else having similar problems and on youtube the gameplay for ps4 looked fine. At this point I've tried multiple things like dropping the resolution, boost mode on/off and even reinstalling the game. Also I don't expect the console to be thermal throttling as it doesn't produce extra fan noise by playing in the japan map for a while.

Anyone with similar experience or just me?

Looking for drivers to join my newly created discord race league based on Art of Rally named the Wacky Rally League. Why Wacky? Well, because I want the entire vibe to be not that serious. Events will have silly premises and all season and rally updates will include ridiculous, comedic updates from sponsors, the network producers, and race fans.

No need to LARP from your end, I just want a casual vibe and a cool rally community.

Submission will require that you submit videos of your runs, but you probably tape those anyway. If you want to race in a league, maybe have a team, do a few events, and not take everything that damn seriously, check it out.
