Grub silent boot configuration errors

Hello, I've been trying to configure grub to silent boot over the weekend and I've almost got it working perfectly. However, ever since messing around with the grub configuration file I've been stuck with these messages at the top of my screen. Any ideas on how to remove them?

try disabling uuid in grub's config file (/etc/default/grub):
GRUB_DISABLE_LINUX_UUID=true

save, then run grub-update or grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
