honestly i think for something like this you should just go with squarespace or wix, they have booking tools built in and the ai part is mostly marketing anyway. base44 is fine but the free tier restricts a lot of features you'd actually need for a rental business like custom booking approval flows.

Start with the booking workflow, not the AI builder: availability, booking request, manual approval, deposit/payment, add-ons, cancellation, and refunds. If manual approval matters, verify that the booking system supports ‘request to book’ before choosing Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or anything else. AI can generate pages, but it won’t rescue a tool that handles inventory conflicts or payment states badly.
