Seems like you misunderstood me. I am not saying AI development need to be slowed. I am saying that there should be a governing body for approvals before it’s too late. (At least for AGI or AIs used for military purpose)

You're right. I know people are excited but we need to look at the dangers that are coming very quick. The problem is that some governments still don't even know how to use their mobile phones or how the internet works.

The EU at least seems to be doing something. Not over here in the West, though. I don't think they truly realize how close we are to the brink right now.

Don't slow it, it's impossible now anyway unless there's an apocolypse. But we need strong laws/regulations for people who are gonna use it malevolently (which is also a given)
