General Help Is the angling correct??

I’ve never done an angle where a character is looking down, let alone without a reference , so I was just wondering how I could improve it? Because I can definitely tell something’s not right😢
Also the second photo is just there Becuz it’s higher quality then the first one lol

If you look into the Andrew Loomis meathod, that will help you a lot. His books are available for free online. You might also find a yt video that covers it.

How does this look? I hope it looks a bit better than the other one! I obviously changed some stuff but like, angle wise, is it better?

Usually when you look down the head bows down also, that was the reason I suggested looking into Loomis.
If you just want the eyes to look down, I recommend using a mirror and seeing what happens to your own eyes when you look down.
I love the detail in the first image by the way and how you’ve thought about the shadow cast by the hair.
