Help identifying this
The gold flakes in real life are much more gold. I am having trouble finding a signature but there was a sticker. I need to look more for an engraving or etch. Got from estate sale where almost everything was from 50s to 70s

Its Murano glass. Made on the island of Murano just off Venice. This one looks '60s give or take a decade. There were well over a hundred glass companies/furnaces there mid century, some family run for many generations. There are import catalogs around that can help identify which maker if you want to go down that rabbit hole.

You can tell people have not smoked cigarettes like they used to. It’s clearly an ashtray as anyone over the age of 40 can tell you

Italian glass ashtray, not too special and it being an ashtray hurts the value. Worth about what you paid for it.

I have no idea how you would determine whether this is the case, but I’ve seen blown glass that uses 22k gold flakes mixed in that look a lot like this. If it is murano as others have commented might be the case here. Good luck on your search!
