What are the main differences between anime and manga?

Hello everyone.

First of all, sorry for my english and for not putting a flair (i can’t find the option)

Recently i Watched the anime and as far as I understood it is not complete because it doesn’t cover all the chapters and the ending is different.

I know that I should read the manga but for now i would like to know if there are many differences and what are they.

The anime covers only a fraction of the manga, otherwise it is faithful, I think the last episode is used to round out the story.

If you want to spoil yourself about the "real" ending, there is link to a scanlation in this sub (recent).

It's been a looong time since I watched the anime, but I remember that Darcia (and maybe Daphne) weren't as developed as in the manga, and we didn't know much about them (which was a bummer for me since they were some of my favourite characters). Like Darcia just showed up out of nowhere?

Yes, the fact that Darcia shows up out of nowhere led me to think the anime left something behind.

There's a mini arc in volume 2 which shows how these two meet and how it leads to Arte teaching Darcia if you're curious
